Tracie’s Community Farm began in 2001 as a small CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm in Sullivan, NH.

As with all CSAs, members  purchased a share in  Tracie’s small farm to assure getting a high quality product each week during the coming  season. CSA shares provide “seed” money for the farmer to purchase seeds and supplies and assures a firm customer base for the summer.

In fall 2007, after nine years of growing vegetables in Sullivan, the farm moved to its permanent home in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire on 33 acres of conservation land. Family and community helped to move perennials, greenhouses, supplies from Sullivan, and to build a barn from pine harvested and milled on the new site. Today, Tracie’s Community Farm’s CSA feeds 210 families in the Monadnock region, and provides produce to a farmstand and area markets and restaurants.

The Community Farm spring sales season begins with plant and herb starts in late April. In mid-June, the Summer CSA season goes into full swing and last through October. The vegetables and cut herbs are picked and washed at their peak flavor and packed into baskets with a weekly newsletter. Information and sign-up can be done on her website.

The farm also has storage vegetables and greens growing in the greenhouse as well as other local goods available like honey, maple products, jams, and baked goods.
