No View Farm, Wolfeboro, NH
Tucked among the woods and winding roads of Wolfeboro, No-View Farm has been quietly raising wholesome food for New Hampshire families since 1986. This small, family-run farm sits on 30 acres in the heart of the Lakes Region, where owners Lawreen and David Strauch have built their farm around a simple idea: raise animals naturally, care for the land, and offer neighbors food they can feel good about bringing home.
For nearly four decades, the Strauchs have raised their livestock without growth stimulants, added hormones, or antibiotics. The result is locally grown meat produced on a true working family farm, with the kind of personal attention that's increasingly hard to find.
As autumn settles over the Lakes Region, No-View Farm is especially known for its Thanksgiving turkeys, ranging from approximately 15 pounds to more than 30 pounds, just right for everything from an intimate holiday table to a house full of hungry relatives.
From June through December, the farm also offers roaster chickens, typically weighing 4.5 to 6 pounds. Shoppers stopping by the farm store can choose from whole or half chickens, bone-in breasts, legs and thighs, as well as convenient BBQ packs ready for the grill or family supper.
When October arrives, customers can stock the freezer with custom-cut, flash-frozen pork, available by the half or whole animal. Grass-fed beef is also offered in limited quantities.
No-View Farm may be small, but that's very much part of its charm. Here, food doesn't travel through a long, anonymous chain before reaching the dinner table. It comes from a family farm with deep roots in Wolfeboro, where Lawreen and David have spent decades doing the everyday work of raising good food close to home.
