Tenth Annual Flavors of the Valley Set for April 15

By Helen Brody (March 22, 2012)

Flavors of the Valley
Sunday April 15, 2012, 11:00 AM -3:00 PM
Hartford HS, White River Junction, VT

Flavors of the Valley, representing locally grown and prepared foods in the greater Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont, is the area’s  premier tasting, informational, and buying event. It welcomes consumers, retailers, and wholesalers.

Dozens of local farmers and chefs offer tastings (as seen on right Bunten Farm, Piermont, NH/Canoe Club, Hanover, NH) and answer questions about their food and farm products, including meats, produce, maple, dairy, baked goods, and prepared foods. Home gardeners too will be interested in quizzing the professionals on their growing techniques. Plant starts, Community Supported Agriculture shares, and early spring vegetables will be available for sale.

Flavors of the Valley is a  the year’s largest program organized by Valley Food & Farm.  This year’s major sponsors are Mascoma Bank and Three Tomatoes Trattoria.
