Canning Workshop Scheduled by Monadnock Localvores

On Saturday July 21, 2012 from 1-4pm in Harrisville, NH Cynthia Nichols and Suzanne Brouilette will offer a program on canning jams and jellies.They will demonstrate sterile techniques; offer different recipes. and discuss canning vegetables. The class will take place in a garden kitchen built just for preserving  fresh fruit and vegetables. Included is a tour of the garden with a visit to its bee hives. There is a suggested donation of $5-15 for each Localvore workshop. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
