Chocolate Pudding

By Helen Brody (January 29, 2011)

2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups whole milk
3 egg yolks
4 ounces milk chocolate (chopped into small pieces)

In medium saucepan mix sugar and cornstarch together and then add 1 cup of milk and the egg yolks, whisking well until smooth. Add the rest of the milk and add the chocolate pieces. Over medium heat, bring mixture to a boil while whisking gently but steadily. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 4 minutes, gently whisking. Let cool slightly while stirring occasionally. After about 10 minutes, pour into appropriate serving dishes and refrigerate covered. It is also good warm.
