Farm Credit Northeast AgEnhancement Program awards grant to NHFN

By Helen Brody (December 28, 2014)

The Farm Credit East AgEnhancement Program has awarded New Hampshire Farms Network a $1,000 grant to support the Network’s  exhibition at the 2015 Farm & Forest Expo, Friday, February 6 and Saturday, February 7 at the Radisson Hotel, Manchester, NH. The Expo has been a winter standard since it began in 1984 and is often called “New Hampshire’s Greatest Winter Fair”.

NHFN has been telling the stories of farms since 2008 and its exhibition features a large display of the profiled farms. Printed information about the 501 (c)3 non-profit will be available at the event and volunteers will be present to answer questions regarding the organization’s efforts to connect farming to food security, community health, economic development, and working land conservation.
