Veteran or Farmer?

By Steve Turaj and Dot Perkins, UNH Cooperative Extension (February 29, 2016)

10403076_936055066409665_8707451533685555355_nUNH Cooperative Extension wants to hear from you! Dairy, Livestock and Forage Crop team members Steve Turaj and Dot Perkins are in the beginning stages of organizing a series of practical educational experiences for veterans with the goal of helping them make a transition to a full or part-time career in farming.

To start, we need to identify veterans, farmers, and others in New Hampshire’s Agricultural Community that would like to join us in this venture. Contact us if you’re interested, or if you’d like to help.
