Pumpkins for Pig Farmers

By Jacqueline Roland, Monadnock Pumpkin Festival Intern (September 20, 2015)

MonadnockPumpkinFestival

Pig Farmers are invited to pick up pumpkins (carved into jack-o-lanterns) from the Monadnock Pumpkin Festival to use as feed for their animals. The Festival is on October 24th at the Cheshire Fairgrounds247 Monadnock Highway, Swanzey, NH 03446. The Festival ends at 8pm. Farmers are invited to pick up pumpkins from the Fairgrounds at 9pm.

If you’d like to pick up pumpkins after the Festival, email for more information.  In your email, specify the size of the vehicle that you’ll be using to pick up the pumpkins and the town that you’ll be coming from.  If you happen to know about how many pumpkins your truck holds, that information would be helpful to us as well.  For more information about the Monadnock Pumpkin Fest visit www.monadnockpumpkinfestival.org.
