Women in Agriculture Roundtable

By Anne Cushman, NHFN Board Member (August 29, 2015)

Helen Brody (right) with Krysta Harden, Deputy Secretary of Agriculture USDA, at an agricultural forum at Diamond Hill Farm, Concord, New Hampshire, earlier this summer.  The theme was Women in Agriculture, a topic of interest to Harden who has initiated a newsletter, Ag Women Lead.

Harden expressed enthusiasm for Helen Brody and Leslie Tuttle’s book, New Hampshire Women Farmers: Pioneers of the Local Food Movement, coming out in September.
