NH Day Boat Fish Delivered to Restaurants

By Helen Brody (December 14, 2013)

communityseafoodThe New Hampshire Farm to Restaurant Connection is partnering with New Hampshire Community Seafood which plans to offer delivery of day boat  fish to New Hampshire restaurants.

The cooperative of New Hampshire fishermen has been delivering directly to customers using the CSA model, in this case called CSF. Fish are caught and processed locally on the same day and delivered next day, This is a great opportunity to get truly fresh local fish for your clients and to support New Hampshire fishermen who face ever changing challenges.

Deliveries will be scheduled weekly or twice weekly, and species will vary with the catch, so some flexibility will be required on your end. The coop will gladly identify the fishermen and the boats supplying you and will provide photos and the fisherman’s “story”, if desired. This is a great opportunity to serve ultra fresh seafood, while connecting guests with its source.
