Farm & Food Leader Program

By ORIS Youth Leadership Programs (March 24, 2016)

Become a Farm & Food Leader
This year ORIS (Organization for Refugee & Immigrant Success) will hire 12 youth intern participants to work on-site at Fresh Start Farms in Dunbarton, NH as well as participate in Manchester’s area farmers markets and farm stands.

Participants will have a direct impact on local foods and will learn an extensive amount of information regarding food justice, health and nutrition, food insecurity and more.  Participants will get to experience the entire farming process from seed to table, understanding the entire process.  This internship is a very hands-on experience that provides team-building, growth & development, leadership skills, as well as a sense of empowerment.
