Agriculture in the Class Room Schedules 2013 Progam Theme.

By Helen Brody (November 4, 2012)

The NH Farm Bureau’s program Agriculture in the Classroom (NHAIC) has a chosen a dairy theme and will use the book Mini Milk Maids on the Mooove by Rianna and Sheridan Chaney in the classroom.  This book is written from the perspective of twin sisters who visit a dairy farm and learn the process of how we get milk from cows.  The program will be engaging members of the dairy industry and other agricultural enthusiasts as it uses  literature to bring another farming theme into schools across the state. See the announcement section for how you can help with this project. To read in their  newsletter about the NHAIC program, learn  pig vocabulary and about pig  farming during National Pork Month along with  the NH Farm Bureau’s calender of events, please see  their newsletter
